About Our Church

Following a missionary trip to the USA in February, 2006, Dr Ekoe began Fellowship in January, 2008. Two years later, Pastor Christian Dotse would join in the mission endeavors in the USA in 2010 when both started the USA branch.

Jesus My Assurance International Ministries Church is a Pentecostal Church who believes in the full manifestation of the Holy Spirit, with it’s headquarters in Lome, Togo, West Africa, where resides the leading Apostle and founder, Kwami Gambetta Azouma.

EMIJA , USA was born in early 2016 when we started meeting for Sunday fellowship which later turned into services from 11am to -1pm at the Supreme Flea Market in Williamsburg, VA. On November 6th, 2016, our Sunday services begun at the Tabernacle of Praise Ministries International, under the leadership of Pastor Liberian Joe.

Currently our Sunday services are held from 8:00 am to 9:45 am. It’s our pleasure to invite you to worship with us.

We adopted the following Profession of Faith:

1. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, was born of the Virgin Mary, lived without sin, died of an expiatory death on the cross, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven. While He is true God and true man, He is the only mediator between God and man.

2. We believe in the need for the work of the Holy Spirit for the new birth and growth of the individual to the maturity and constant renewal of the Church in truth, wisdom, faith, holiness, Love, power and mission. Every believer is called to live and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit dwelling in him so that he will bear his fruits to the glory of God and not satisfy the lusts of the flesh.

3. We believe that all men are lost sinners and cannot see the kingdom of God except by the new birth that takes place through the repentance of sin and faith in God. Justification is given to man through grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

4. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, which is made up of all believers all over the world, and that at the local level the church is a group of baptized believers who organize themselves to the will of God. His vocation is to praise God and give testimonies about his Head, Jesus Christ, preach the Gospel to all nations and demonstrate his commitment through the service of compassion for the needs of human beings and the promotion of righteousness and of Justice.

5. We believe that Jesus Christ will come personally and visibly in glory to resurrect the dead and bring to a successful conclusion salvation and judgment. God will fully manifest His kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and a new earth, where He will be glorified forever and exclude all evil, suffering and death.

We believe… that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe… in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in His bodily resurrection.

We believe… the Bible to be the inspired and infallible Word of God.

We believe… in salvation by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe… in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as a subsequent gift to salvation.

We believe… in the provision of bodily healing in the atoning work of Jesus our Savior.

We believe… in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the saved and the lost; the saved unto eternal life, living eternally in the presence of God, and the unsaved unto eternal damnation.
